The Idiot’s Guide To The Black Revolution an experimental piece that chronicles The Black Lives Matter movement from first a reactive standpoint then a proactive standpoint.
As an artist I felt a little responsible for how this movement was told in the media’s eyes. If we let our oppressors tell the story of course it’s going to be full of propaganda and lies. I wanted to not only document this movement, but I wanted to also add to it in the best way I know how — through cinema.
After every installation there will be a hashtag that can further open the discussion through our social media channels.
