[PHOTO OF THE DAY] My First Script.
As a free writer, I never thought in my life I would write a script. It took me about a week to think of what I wanted to write about. I mean this was something I was going to see in front of me when we shoot it, edit it, and put it out there for the world to see. I don’t wanna watch it and be like “Dammit! Why didn’t I change that or write something more?” I’m the Queen of typing and erasing overall a period of an hour straight. I wouldn’t call myself a perfectionist but don’t perfectionist usually say that? I wanted to touch base on something personal. I wanted to make a character that I actually knew in my life. “The Promise” sounds like it will be some happy go lucky film about some man who promises his girl love and affection. No, No. Now, I don’t wanna give it all away before it’s presented to you guys but I will say that it makes you wonder if doing the right thing sometimes mean doing the wrong thing for someone you love. I’ll leave you with that.
