One of the reasons I love NYC is because you can find creative artists everywhere. While on a stroll in Brooklyn I caught an artist working on this piece and I couldn’t help but stop and admire. Laolu Senbanjo didn’t give a name for this particular work of art but described it as “something he felt inspired to do in the moment.” He was kind enough to let me take a couple of pictures of him working and began to explain his inspiration. He described it as “taking in his surroundings”. Black pens and black permanent markers was all it took to create this piece. One thing Laolu reminded me about was being in a creative place gets your creative juices going and who knows what type of art you will come up with.

Where do you go or what do you do to get in your creative mood?
