Now, I know you guys remember the “Goosebumps” series. How can you not? R.L Stine had us scared to turn off the lights before bed with his books and television series. I’ll never forget the episode that featured “Slappy”, the Dummy. Now you guys can call me silly if you want, but I have a serious fear of ventriloquist dummies. That smile, that stare. I always find them to be creepy and would love to never be near one in person. I remember seeing this book in my school’s library as a child and the cover just freaked me out. That deathly glare from that doll just made me uncomfortable. Slappy was a popular villain in the book series but do you guys remember the episode featuring him? I saw it once and made sure not to see it again. Slappy comes to life when the words “Karru marri odonna loma molonu karrano“, which means “You and I are one now”, are read out loud. First of all, any piece of paper with that language written next to a creepy doll will be happily placed down and I will keep on moving. Hey, that’s just me!
