Ah Thanksgiving! The time when you gather with family and friends for a great feast. You wake up to the aroma of baked goods, an assortment of meats, a plethora of sides, and your grandfathers infamous rum punch! It generally a joyous occasion filled with love and laughter.

Unfortunately I wasn’t with my family today due to us living in different states so I didn’t get that joyous feel this morning but to those of you that did I hope you all had a wonderful day and an even better dinner.

I just want to say that I’m thankful for my family. Without their guidance I’m not sure where I’d be. They truly mean the world to me and I find me strength through them despite us being so many miles apart. I’m also thankful for my close friends who are an extension to my family. They too keep me going and for that I am forever grateful. I’m also thankful that I have an outlet to allow my creative juices to roam free. I’ve been busy working but I still jot down ideas in my notepad and use this outlet to bring them out.

Also this is extremely random but I love watching movies (yes movies and NOT football) on Thanksgiving. It’s cliché but I love watching ‘Soul Food’, ‘The Jacksons An American Dream’, and ‘This Christmas’ around this time of year. I adore the family unit if you can’t tell already and those movies embody just that. So this Thanksgiving enjoy your family and friends! Get wasted and eat until you can’t move!
