Here’s a music video that has an interesting storyline I’m still trying to put together. This video has some great cinematography and was just awesomely done.Let me post this video first then write what I think below.

Okay, so in the beginning we have a child whose obviously selling drugs which was disturbing to see with the age he was, but that’s just reality for you. He’s in his room playing with a toy gun, aiming with it looking like he is ready to take some lives. He grows up to become a cop, so  I thought the storyline would be like “oh as a child he grew up doing wrong and now he’s trying to do right.” Grade A inspirational film. WRONG. He appears to be a a dirty cop, using police brutality. I mean you can debate that if you want, the guy was on his stomach and he punched him in the face like twice.  The character and his partner are clearly using their guns for other activities such has breaking bottles and shooting at people’s feet to scare them off,  jamming in their police cars while burning rubber and I believe to have seen a scene of them snorting drugs that they seized. What’s more disturbing is the scene at the end of the children playing with toy guns looking exactly how he did in the beginning, until we see a child at the end with a real gun and it goes to black.

Is this a dark comedy video? They’re are some humorous scenes in here. The two cops dancing on the car, and getting wasted. Basically acting like they are untouchable because they have a police badge. The song  kind of brings humor to it too. It gives the attitude and the cockiness to the characters that just molds it altogether nicely. Was this video made to bring up awareness of dirty cops? Perhaps showing the dark side to the police force? This film could have been interpreted in so many ways and that’s why I love it.  It leaves me wondering why this was made. It kind of reminded me of the “GTA” video games. Listening to some good music while doing some crazy shit in between.
